Member Codes and Delivery Tab
The Member Codes and Delivery tab links the organization’s service areas and responsibilities to the way tickets are delivered. It has two main parts:
Member Codes
Each code acts as a unique identifier for a type of service or facility the organization maintains (e.g., ATT01 for Fiber Optic, ATT312 for Distribution). The table shows:
- Code – Unique identifier.
- Description/Notes – Clarifies the facility type or usage.
- Name – The organization or subdivision tied to the code.
- Facility Types – Categories of infrastructure (e.g., Communication, Electric, Gas).
- Associated Contact – A linked person for escalations or follow-ups.
- Status – Active or inactive.
- Billable – Indicates if the code is tied to billing.
- Edit/Delete – Allows modification or removal.
When adding or editing a code, additional details appear:
- Active Toggle – Enables or disables the code.
- Member Code – The identifier.
- Name & Description – Label and supporting notes.
- Facility Type – Defines what type of infrastructure is linked to the code.
- Associated Contact – Who will be tied to the code.
- Billable Toggle – Sets if the code is used for billing.
- Billing Information – Fields for representative name, email, phone, and billing address.
At the bottom, you can either Create to save, or Create and Add Another to immediately commit the changes
Delivery
Delivery settings define how tickets for a member code are transmitted. Each code can have multiple delivery destinations, and unlike Newtin, you are no longer limited to just one primary and one alternate destination. Multiple parallel destinations can be configured as needed.
Adding a Delivery Destination
When you click + Add New under the Delivery table, a side panel opens with the following options:
- Active – Toggle on to enable this delivery path.
- Send EOD Summary / Send Empty EOD Summary – Optional toggles that let you send a daily summary of ticket activity (including empty reports if selected).
- Member Code – Select which member code this delivery applies to.
- Description – Add notes for clarity (e.g., “After-hours FTP delivery”).
- Start Delivery / End Delivery – Optional date ranges to control when the destination is valid. Useful for testing or phased cutovers.
- Delivery Type – Choose how tickets will be delivered. Supported modalities:
- FTP
- Push (webhook/API endpoint)
- SMS
- Voice
- Matches – Configure filters to only send tickets matching specific criteria (e.g., ticket type, county).
- Dates – Restrict delivery by calendar rules (such as skipping holidays).
- Hours – Restrict delivery to certain times of the day (e.g., 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
At the bottom, you can either Create to save, or Create and Add Another to immediately add a second delivery destination.
Editing a Delivery Destination
To change an existing delivery, click the Edit icon in the Delivery table. This opens the same side panel pre-filled with the destination’s details. From here you can:
- Update whether the delivery is Active.
- Enable or disable EOD summaries.
- Modify the description.
- Adjust start or end dates for the delivery path.
- Change the delivery type (Email, FTP, Push, SMS, Voice).
- Update filters for Matches, Dates, or Hours.
Once saved, changes take effect immediately and apply to all new tickets tied to the associated member code.
Key Points
- Multiple destinations per code are now supported (not restricted to 1 primary + 1 alternate).
- Delivery can be conditional, using Matches, Dates, and Hours.
- EOD summaries (including empty ones) can be enabled per destination.
- Start/End dates allow controlled cutovers or scheduled delivery windows.
