The System Settings area is accessed via the gear icon in the top navigation bar. It provides administrators with the tools needed to configure users, roles, scheduling, and operational parameters.

When you click the gear icon, you’ll see a left-hand navigation with the following sections:

Users

The Users section (under System Settings → Users) provides administrators with a centralized place to view, manage, and onboard system users.

User Table Overview

The user table lists all accounts in CENTER LOGiX with the following columns:

  • Name – The full name of the user.
  • Email – The unique email address used to log into the system.
  • Roles – The role(s) assigned (e.g., sysop, user, RTE, Tickets/Responses). Roles control what permissions and grants the user has (see Roles & Grants).
  • Organizations – The organization(s) the user is associated with. A single user may belong to multiple organizations.
  • Created – Timestamp of when the user account was created.
  • Updated – Timestamp of the last update made to the user’s record.
  • Status – Indicates if the user is Pending or Active:
    1. Pending = User has been invited but has not yet activated their account.
    2. Active = User has successfully accepted their invite and can log in.
  • Actions – Available options for each user:
    1. Edit (pencil icon) – Modify the user’s details, roles, or organizational associations.
    2. Delete (trash can) – Permanently remove the user.
    3. Reinvite – For pending users, resend the welcome email invitation.

Tip: Every invited user automatically has a contact record created and linked to the organization, ensuring data consistency between Users and Contacts.

Managing User Lifecycle

  • Pending Users: If they do not respond, use Reinvite to resend the email.
  • Active Users: Their access is defined by assigned roles. You can adjust roles or organizations as needed via Edit.

Deactivated or Removed Users: Use the Delete option for accounts that should no longer have access
